1. Service Description

StorySignal provides AI-powered book marketing analysis and Amazon Ads optimization tools for self-published authors. Our service analyzes manuscripts to generate keyword recommendations and marketing insights.

2. Account Registration

• You must be at least 16 years old to use our service
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our service
• Resell or redistribute our service without permission
• Use automated systems to access our service beyond normal use
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

4. Content Rights

4.1 Your Content

• You retain all rights to your manuscripts and book content
• You grant us a limited license to process your content for analysis
• We do not store your manuscript content after analysis
• You represent that you have the right to upload any content you provide

4.2 Our Content

• We own all rights to our service, including algorithms and insights
• You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from our service
• The marketing insights we provide are for your use only

5. Subscription and Payment

• Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis
• All fees are in US dollars and non-refundable except as required by law
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice for existing subscribers
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

6. Service Limits

Based on your subscription tier, you have limits on:

• Number of book analyses per month
• Level of customer support provided
• These limits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORYSIGNAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold StorySignal harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload to our service

10. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately
• We may retain certain data as required by law

11. Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States
• Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
• You waive the right to participate in class actions
• Small claims court remains available for qualifying disputes

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. General Provisions

• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us
• If any provision is found invalid, the rest remains in effect
• Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver
