Master your content scheduling, team workflows, and multi-platform posting.
Navigate to Social and click "New Post." Upload images/videos, write your caption, and select platforms.
Set up content pillars (Book Promo, Author Life, etc.) to categorize posts and track your content mix.
Create reusable hashtag collections (e.g., "Romance Bookstagram") to quickly add to posts.
Set a scheduled date/time. Posts go through an approval workflow before scheduling.
The Social module helps you plan, organize, and collaborate on your social media content. Here's what you can do:
Posts move through these statuses as they're created, reviewed, and published:
| Status | Meaning | What Happens Next |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Work in progress | Edit and submit for approval, or save as scheduled |
| Pending Approval | Submitted, awaiting review | Owner/Collaborator approves or requests changes |
| Approved | Ready to schedule | Set a scheduled date/time |
| Scheduled | Ready to post | Copy content and post, then mark as Posted |
| Posted | Published | Track performance, consider for evergreen |
| Rejected | Changes requested | Returns to creator as Draft for revision |
Keep these limits in mind when writing captions:
| Platform | Caption Limit | Hashtag Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 2,200 characters | 30 max (3-5 recommended) | |
| TikTok | 2,200 characters | Use trending hashtags |
| 63,206 characters | Less hashtag-focused | |
| Twitter/X | 280 characters | 2-3 recommended |
| 500 characters | Use keywords in description | |
| 3,000 characters | 3-5 professional hashtags |
Note: Story Signal helps you plan and organize posts. To actually publish, copy the caption and download media to post manually or use your preferred scheduling tool (Later, Buffer, Metricool, etc.).
