Creating a Post

Follow these steps to create a new social media post:

  1. Title
    Enter an internal name for this post. This is for your reference only and won't be shown to your audience.
  2. Upload Media
    Add images or videos. For carousels, drag to reorder. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, MP4.
  3. Write Caption
    Write your post text with a call-to-action. Watch the character counter for platform limits.
  4. Add Hashtags
    Click hashtag groups to add them, or type custom hashtags in the text field.
  5. Select Platforms
    Choose which platforms to post to (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
  6. Set Schedule
    Pick the date, time, and post type (Feed, Story, Reel, Carousel).
  7. Organization (Optional)
    Link to a novel, select a content pillar, or add to a campaign.
  8. Save
    Save as Draft or Submit for Approval (if working with a team).

Media Management

Tips for working with images and videos in your posts:

Uploading Media

  • Drag and drop files or click to browse
  • Upload multiple images for carousel posts
  • Maximum file size: 10MB per image, 100MB per video
  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, MP4, MOV

Reordering Carousel Images

  • Drag images to reorder them in your carousel
  • The first image will be shown as the preview
  • Click the X to remove an image

Caption Writing

Write engaging captions that connect with your audience:

Caption Structure

  1. Hook - Grab attention in the first line (visible before "more")
  2. Body - Share your message, story, or information
  3. Call-to-Action - Tell readers what to do next
  4. Hashtags - Add relevant hashtags at the end

Character Counter

The form shows a character counter that updates as you type. It will warn you when approaching platform limits:

  • Instagram 2,200 characters
  • 280 characters
  • Pinterest 500 characters
Tip

Write your longest caption first (for Instagram/Facebook), then edit down for Twitter. This ensures you don't lose important content.

Multi-Platform Posting

You can select multiple platforms for a single post:

  • The same caption and media will be used for all platforms
  • Consider platform-specific adjustments (hashtags for IG, shorter text for X)
  • You can duplicate a post and customize for each platform if needed
